El l\u00edquido refrigerante es esencial para que el motor de un coche funcione en buenas condiciones. Te ense\u00f1amos c\u00f3mo se rellena y para qu\u00e9 sirve el anticongelante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para mantener la temperatura del motor de un coche en sus niveles \u00f3ptimos, resulta esencial mantener las propiedades del l\u00edquido refrigerante o anticongelante<\/strong> en condiciones \u00f3ptimas y, el circuito, en el nivel adecuado. Por eso, se recomienda comprobarlo regularmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si quieres saber el nivel del l\u00edquido refrigerante en tu coche, debes realizar los siguientes pasos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Localiza el vaso de llenado del\u00a0circuito de refrigeraci\u00f3n<\/strong>. Suele ser siempre de pl\u00e1stico semitransparente y tiene un tap\u00f3n de cierre de color negro o azul. Si tienes dudas, el libro de mantenimiento te ayudar\u00e1 a localizarlo bajo el cap\u00f3 del coche.<\/li>
  2. En la pared exterior del\u00a0vaso de llenado<\/strong>\u00a0encontrar\u00e1s siempre dos marcas, una indica el nivel m\u00e1ximo y la otra el m\u00ednimo al que el\u00a0nivel del l\u00edquido refrigerante<\/strong>\u00a0se puede situar. Siempre que se encuentre entre ambas marcas, el\u00a0nivel del l\u00edquido refrigerante<\/strong>\u00a0es el adecuado.<\/li>
  3. Para comprobar el anticongelante, pon el coche en una superficie plana, y deja que el motor se enfr\u00ede. Comprueba a trav\u00e9s de la pared semitransparente si la l\u00ednea marcada por la superficie m\u00e1xima del refrigerante coincide entre las marcas de m\u00e1ximo y m\u00ednimo.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      \u00bfC\u00f3mo rellenar el l\u00edquido refrigerante?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      • Despu\u00e9s de localizar el tap\u00f3n del vaso de llenado, debes abrirlo gradualmente. Recuerda que el l\u00edquido anticongelante est\u00e1 en un circuito cerrado. Si fuera necesario, \u00e1brelo con un pa\u00f1o para que vaya haciendo la descompresi\u00f3n progresiva.<\/li>
      • Recuerda rellenar el l\u00edquido refrigerante con el motor fr\u00edo. Cuando el motor est\u00e1 en funcionamiento y caliente tiende a aumentar el nivel del circuito hasta ponerse por encima de la marca m\u00e1xima.<\/li>
      • Reponer el l\u00edquido refrigerante es una operaci\u00f3n sencilla que puedes realizar t\u00fa mismo. Si es necesario incluso te puedes ayudar con un embudo para no derramar el l\u00edquido.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Lo que debes tener en cuenta con el l\u00edquido refrigerante<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Cuando eches el l\u00edquido refrigerante, debe ser siempre el recomendado por el fabricante. Ten en cuenta que te encontrar\u00e1s con anticongelantes de diferentes colores (rosa, verde, amarillo, naranja\u2026) con una protecci\u00f3n contra la corrosi\u00f3n, un punto de congelaci\u00f3n y un punto de ebullici\u00f3n diferentes. Si juntas dos anticongelantes de distintas propiedades<\/strong>, la mezcla puede formar una pasta s\u00f3lida que, con el paso del tiempo y los kil\u00f3metros, puede provocar una aver\u00eda al obstruir el circuito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Si no encuentras el refrigerante <\/strong>recomendado por el fabricante, como \u00faltima opci\u00f3n podr\u00edas rellenar el circuito con agua destilada; al fin y al cabo, el refrigerante es una mezcla de anticongelante y agua. Algunos anticongelantes <\/strong>vienen concentrados, lo que normalmente obliga a mezclarlos con agua al 50%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        En ning\u00fan caso eches s\u00f3lo el agua del grifo: \u00e9sta tiene su punto de congelaci\u00f3n en los 0\u00baC, hierve a los 100\u00baC y adem\u00e1s corroe el metal.
